The two new locations of Fagor Ederlan Group, the Edertek Technological Centre and the Markulete Iron Foundry, have been officially inaugurated, on the presence of the President of the Autonomous Basque Community, Juan José Ibarretxe, and the Regional Vice-Minister of Technology and Industrial Development of the Basque Government, Iñaki Telletxea. Both locations are placed in Mondragón, and meet the commitment of Fagor Ederlan Group with innovation and qualified cooperative employment. 60 milion euros have been invested, 10 milion in Edertek and 50 milion in the foundry of Markulete.

Fagor Ederlan has been named as “Best Honda Supplier in 2006” at the Annual Honda Suppliers Convention held last April in Swindon, UK, where HONDA’s European headquarters is located. The award was presented by Kanazawa-san, the current Managing Director of Honda and by Kato-san, the outgoing Director.
