The plant is situated in the Technology Recycling Park in the municipal district of Zaragoza and stands on a plot of 20.000 m2. The start-up required an investment of €9.6 million. Recieder is the first company to start its operation in the Technological Recycling Park, which has a total area of 862 ha and plans include the installation of around 150 recycling companies.

 
Recieder is an innovative project that uses the most advanced technology in its sector, strictly complying with the common environmental guidelines, including the co-financing of the European Union, within the framework of the Environmental Program Life Environment 2004/2005, together with another 74 projects from different countries in the Union.
 
To comply with this demanding regulation, in cooperation with other technological partners, Recieder has designed an Automatic Material Separation Process for scrap vehicles . The process is particularly environment-friendly,  and allows zero water spillage from the purification system and high-level material separation, especially aluminum and iron. Besides supporting Fagor Ederlan’s environmental commitment, Recieder complies with the cooperative’s strategy of optimising resources, which ensures part of the supply of raw materials for its components. 
 
Fagor Ederlan’s partner, López Soriano Industries, is a leading company in the field of recycling and recovery of materials (500.00 t/year), characterized by a specific policy of expansion. Recycling is one of the pillars for the future of its strategy as an Environmental Life Environment 2004/2005, together with another 74 projects from different countries in the Union.
 
It is highly familiar with the raw materials market and environmental legislation and is a long-term supplier of ferric materials to Fagor Ederlan Taldea. Its turnover totals €300 million and the company employs a staff of 500 people.
